You have good ears! I tend to agree with you although these things are very hard to describe. Alot depends on the speakers, their placement and the room treatment. The music one is listening to as well as the shape of one's head and ears probably makes a difference, as does the mix and mastering decisions of the producers and engineers.

The control I adjust most of the time when "changing records" is Zentrum.
