Lazy Glitch Music Production |

If anyone out there makes that glitchy style music, there is a really easy way of getting those kind of sounds with next to zero effort. Feed a drum machine (worked well with my electribe) into yr G2, Then using the zero cross counter feed a basic ring-mod style synth, the only other thing is to perhaps use a noisegate and an envelope or 2 to give u some extra control over the noise bursty moments, as it can be a bit much.
I would post an example but it is just soo easy. _________________ iP (Ross)

Never tried that... thanks for the tip!
(ohh... do you use the zero cross counter output
to modulate the pitch of the osc?) |

Just knocked this one up for ya. Maybe stay away from too many hi freq sounds (like hats cos they really confuse it, but bass n mid tone drum sounds work well)

Yes, thats the fun part When the signals get a bot complex the tracking gets glitchy. You can tune that a bit by applying filtering before.
I particulary liked your first demo mp3. I seem to be in a quiet mood ... _________________ Jan

I like this, it uses different modules than I normally use.

I hadn't used mine (electribe) in ages either, only got it out cos I wanted to wire something tweakable thru the G2 (n gald i did, it wont be returning to it's box any time soon). Recently put the soft synth Drumazon and Stylus thru it with some lovely results too. Can't wait to feed my MDrum thru it when it returns from its European holiday.
Thanks for your comments guys.
