Ah yes, some nice articles!
And ... no need to bookmark anymore - added wiki links to the forum menus.
Another thing: auto talk pages are now available on the wiki - the discuss link in the page menu will bring you to a discussion page specific for the page you were on. _________________ Jan

Congrats on designing and building a wonderful, useful, and easy-to-use knowledge-base tool for electro-music!
Just wondering:
Would it be possible, desirable, and easy-enough-to-implement (if its not already there) a hierarchical random feature (or perhaps a random feature that uses tags)? I can imagine the following:
(1) A user is just interested in randomly finding just schematics, or just articles, or just photos.
(2) A user is just interested in randomly finding just articles on modular synthesis, or just lunetta schematics, or just gear photos.
Again, the wiki is way cool as is, but this thought just popped into my head, so I took Jan's advice and posted the idea.

I don't have the time myself, but I could envision a Lunetta Vault to parallel the Schematic Vault.
I think Nicolas' Super Simple components deserve a way to find them more easily. 1) I think they ought to be in the vault and 2) I think they deserve a keyword. That's something a bit more time possible for me so I will look at doing that here sometime. |

Yes that is possible, just make a new page and then add some code like
Code: | (:redirect {(random (plist group=Schematics) )} quiet=1 :) |
Best not to experiment with this in the sandbox maybe as it might make the page inaccessible (due to the redirect), and during experimentation it may be handy to to set
I made a test page for stuff like this:
http://electro-music.com/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Main.WikiSwimmingPool
but once it redirects you may only be able to access it with
http://electro-music.com/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Main.WikiSwimmingPool?action=edit
You can also use a comma separated group list instead of just one group, for example :
Code: | (:redirect {(random (plist name=-RecentChanges,-Main,-Articles,-Radio,-Schematics,-Help,-Forum group=Main,Articles,Radio,Schematics,Help,Forum) )} quiet=1 :) |
Which uses several groups, and also excludes several special pages - not sure if the exclusion properly works though. _________________ Jan

Thanks all
I'm still looking for a good way to communicate over/about the wiki.
I made Talk pages in it, but those are a bit hard to discover ... I made a search for "-Talk" which helps a bit ... and a search for all recent changes, which helps a bit too ... looking for the "perfect" idea there still though ... maybe this just needs to be a forum thing _________________ Jan

Yes- it's great.
There are a lot of pictures I haven't seen before.
I'm looking forward to reading the articles too (while streaming in the background)..
There's a great closeup of Kees in this gallery
http://electro-music.com/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Albums.ChateauSonore041ChateauSonore
and nice pictures of Wout's wife & son.
Hey- Jan's there too, we don't get to see you often.
